About The painting: 

I'm excited to share the following series of paintings I had worked on the last month titled "Looking Up to Heaven",  they are inspired by my seeking Gods face when I look up to the heavens. I have been experiencing a great deal of pain from my injury from a fall in 2012, I can't believe sometimes it has been that long because the pain feels like I just experienced it all over again, so this is a very real pain that takes me down to my knees and the quest for finding the right therapies and treatment have been exhausting both physically and emotionally.   So when I just cannot find answers and relief I look up to sky to feel the warmth from the sun, and I'm reminded on how big the  clouds appear and how wondrous heaven must be.  I realize how small I am compared to the clouds and heavens above me are and my problems, because God is so much bigger than my problems.  The paintings which follow expresses how I feel along with scriptures which inspired the paintings.  

Scripture Theme for Looking up to the heavens series is Job 35:5 look at the heavens and see; and behold the clouds-they are higher than you. 

Since I could remember I have always loved looking up, I would trip and fall often as a child because I rather look up than looking where I was going.  I found myself and still do so intrigued with what is behind the clouds, as a kid I used to think it was a big person who made those clouds, and as I grew and learned about Gods truth and promises and so I have learned how great he is.
